About PromptNerd

Hi, I’m Arthur Hickory — the AI Geek Behind PromptNerd

PromptNerd is my personal blog about AI tools, prompts, automation and digital experiments. I created it for people who are curious about artificial intelligence but want practical notes instead of loud predictions, recycled tool lists or empty hype.

What you’ll find on PromptNerd

PromptNerd covers the practical side of AI. I write about tools, prompts and workflows that can be used by creators, marketers, developers, writers, students, freelancers and anyone who likes testing new digital systems.

AI Tool Reviews

I review AI tools for writing, coding, image generation, research, productivity and automation. My goal is to explain what each tool is actually useful for, not just repeat its feature list.

Prompt Engineering

I write about prompts that produce clearer, more structured and more predictable results. This includes prompt formats, examples, context-setting, output structure and common mistakes.

AI Automation

I explore how AI can work with documents, spreadsheets, email, content workflows, no-code tools and repetitive digital tasks. I focus on simple automation ideas that are realistic for everyday users.

Creative AI

I test tools for images, video, design, storytelling and visual experiments. I am especially interested in where creative AI helps generate ideas, drafts and variations faster.

AI for Coding

I write about coding assistants, AI code editors, debugging tools and practical ways developers can use AI without blindly trusting generated code.

AI Productivity

I look at how AI can help organize notes, summarize information, plan tasks, research topics and reduce small repetitive decisions during the workday.

How I approach AI tools

I do not judge AI tools only by how impressive they look in a promo video. I try to understand how they behave in real situations. Can the tool save time? Does it produce usable output? Is it easy to control? Does it fit into a normal workflow? Does it require too much editing after use?

For me, a good AI tool is not necessarily the most advanced one. It is the one that helps solve a specific task with less friction. Sometimes that means a powerful AI assistant. Sometimes it means a simple browser tool with one clear function.

What this blog is not about

PromptNerd is not a hype machine. I do not want the blog to sound like every new tool will replace everyone’s job or change the world overnight. I also do not treat AI as a magic button that automatically creates perfect work.

AI tools can be useful, but they need direction, review and context. That is why I write about prompts, workflows and use cases together. The tool matters, but the way you use it often matters more.

Who should read PromptNerd

PromptNerd is for readers who enjoy testing AI but want clear explanations. You may find it useful if you are a creator looking for better content workflows, a marketer testing AI tools, a developer comparing coding assistants, a student exploring research tools or simply a curious geek who wants to understand what is worth trying.

You do not need to be a machine learning expert to read this blog. I write for practical users who want to know what they can do with AI today.
